Have a dream? Read my story:
I just got accepted to medical school.
6 years ago, I started college as pre-med.
5 years ago, I failed 2 classes and fell into despair.
4 months ago, I graduated with a Masters in Biomolecular Science to improve my academic record and resume.
3 years ago, I retook my classes and grinded toward completing the bachelors with improved grades.
2 years ago, I started my job as a clinical research coordinator and began working with patients directly to help cure lung cancer.
1 week ago, I got a call from medical school that I was accepted.
I doubted myself. I considered every other "easier" allied health field than medicine. Those with a shorter road. I overcame my crisis of confidence, and crisis in faith.
I got all the experience, and built out the resume, and checked the pre-med boxes.

It took 6 years, but I finally did it.
My journey to acceptance was long and rough.
It was also the best thing ever.
If you have a dream, don't let anything stop you.
The difference between those who dream, and those who live their dream, are actions. The only way you can fail is giving up. No one is more entitled to anything than anyone else. No one is "special". You are enough. So don't stop trying.
Until next time,
